Free Concert in the Park w/ Jessie Veeder

The library is sponsoring a free concert in the park with Jessie Veeder on August 5 – join us at Poolside Park @ 4PM for a great show!

Jessie Veeder writes and sings about the badlands of Western North Dakota where she grew up and is now working raising kids and cattle as the fourth generation on her family’s cattle ranch. Blending western, rock, blues and heartfelt, honest lyrics, Jessie is a powerful storyteller on paper, on stage and in song. Summer Reading Wrap Party

We are celebrating our young patrons who completed the summer reading program by reading at least 15 books! Participants earned a custom backpack filled with prizes and can choose buttons and keychains to style it.

Calling all Pokémon trainers! Meet @ the Underwood Public Library (inside City Hall building) to swap Pokémon cards, play games, and make friends. Check out our books on all things Pokémon to become the best trainer you can be.

We’ll meet at the same time the last Thursday of each month.

See, smell, touch, and even taste amazing plants from around the world while listening to a story time about our global community.

Watch the sensitive plant MOVE when you touch it – smell the FRESH mint leaves – taste and see the YUMMY red hibiscus tea. 

STEAM Activity Fair w/ Magic City Discovery Center

Educators from Minot’s Magic City Discovery Center are bringing the fun to Underwood with 10 interactive STEAM stations including a Wind Tunnel and Big Blue Blocks. Event will be in the city hall gym.
